FAQ

You May Also Be Wondering…

How do we book?

Fill out and submit the form above. We will email you back within 48 hours to schedule a call, confirm the wedding date, submit a contract, and extend a payment link.

We require a 30% non-refundable deposit to reserve your date.

Will we be meeting face to face?

To keep your Tiny Wedding as easy and efficient as possible, we keep the facetime Zoom or phone calls. It’s a different model to wrap your head around, for sure. But once you hear us joke about Jurassic Park wedding themes, you’ll feel as cool as a cucumber!

Is this the questionnaire we keep hearing about?

Heck no – the real thing is way more fun. During our client intake, we send out a questionnaire that teases out the itty details that’ll make your day super special.

What if it rains?

You’d have the coolest photos? In all seriousness, we watch the weather closely to help navigate any suspicious clouds well in advance of your wedding. If this kind of uncertainty makes you nervy, we do offer indoor venues at an additional cost.

What about full-scale catering or sit down meals?

It depends on the venue. If you choose one of our premium venues, we’ll help you plan the themed wedding supper of your dreams and will hook you up with a custom quote.

If you are more interested in a park ceremony, then dinner afterward, resources like electricity and running water are tricky. In those cases, we’ve created a shortlist of local restaurants (complete with private rooms) to give your Tiny Wedding total dinner party vibes.

We have more suggestions if there is a specific area of Atlanta you’re a smitten kitten with.

Another option: If you take advantage of our Overnight Packages, we are able to point you in the direction of some pretty fantastic private chefs. (Did you just get chills, too?)

Your wedding packages indicate a max of 25 guests. Any wiggle room there?

If you are interested in a larger wedding, fill out the form above and include your ideal guest quantity. We can always customize an experience for you that still feels intimate.

Are you comfortable with same-sex, polyamory, or alternative lifestyle weddings?

Of course!

How about traditional or religious weddings?

You bet! We provide officiant recommendations based on your personal beliefs.

When is the best time of day to have a small wedding?

Depends on your location and personal preference – we are happy to work with you any time of day. The biggest question mark is traffic.

During the week, Rush Hour is solidly from 4:00 – 6:30. If you want your ceremony during those hours, the timeline will simply need to have additional flexibility.

Do I have to choose a location before I book?

Nope! If you are having a hard time choosing, say so on the form above and we’ll handpick some selections for you to review. No stressing allowed!

Why don’t you list the addresses of your venues?

It’s kind of like airbnb – some of our locations are private residences that open their homes exclusively to our special events, so we don’t want to broadcast their personal addresses to the world wide web.

I have a friend with a decent SLR. Can they photograph the wedding?

To ensure the quality standard Sweet Grass Weddings promises, we only work with select vendors. That being said, your guests are welcome to bring their own non-professional photography gear and snap away.

What about the marriage license?

In Georgia, both of you must visit the probate court to be granted a marriage license. The costs and specifics for your case and county can vary, but it is a quick and simple process.

You will bring the license to the ceremony for the officiant to sign and you will be married! Georgia has no waiting period and does not require a blood test. Check out our blog post (with links!) on exactly how to get married in Georgia.
